CONGRATULATIONS! from everyone at Cardrona - We look forward to seeing you again soon
Cardrona Alpine Resort features:
- the longest terrain park in New Zealand
- a new beginner park for 2008
- a new triple jump line - safer but bigger
- two international standard half pipes - including a brand new 22' pipe which is FIS homologated
- hosted the FIS World Cup snowboard half pipe event in 2007
- will probably host a FIS World Cup snowboard half pipe and slopestyle in 2008
- a FIS skier cross course
- fantastic freeriding terrain
With these facilities at our finger tips we are able to offer great training options for all freeski athletes whether they want to get into the park and pipe, race skiercross, ride big mountain or improve their range of tricks and levels of intensity.
We pride ourselves on safety while focusing on the needs and level of the athletes so that there is fun, challenge, skill development and results. We believe in developing great riding skills first and foremost and continuing this development through an athlete's career. We also believe that off-snow athlete training is a hugely important element that needs to be integrated with what is happening on snow.
